FS: Clearaudio Concept Turntable – $1000

For sale is an original model Clearaudio Concept Turntable, $1000. Excellent condition, all controls and tonearm function perfectly. The Grado Sonata cartridge pictured not included and is not mounted (I will sell the Grado as well for an extra $200, if interested). This table was originally purchased for use with a mono cartridge on mono LPs, but I don't listen to enough to this setup to make keeping the 'table worthwhile.

The Concept is belt-driven by a low-noise, decoupled DC motor built into the resonant-optimized plinth. The platter is made of 30mm-thick polyoxymethylene (POM), an engineering thermoplastic used in precision parts that require high stiffness, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. The Concept plays at three speeds – 33rpm, 45rpm, and 78rpm – selectable by Electronic Speed Control knob.

I'll list this as an 8/10 simply because I am the second owner, but the 'table is as-new and works perfectly. The only thing that has changed from new is the red and black heat shrink on the RCA tonearm cables has come off, but I have the RCA plugs accurately labeled Left and Right.

Table will be packed very safely and securely for shipping, including a cardboard spacer under sub-platter to protect bearing. Buyer pays Paypal fee (2.9% + $0.30) and shipping/packaging costs. Please PM me if interested.
