If you already have the MCT500 I would just add the D1100. I don't own any of this stuff but if I had to guess the DAC in the D1100 is probably as good if not better than the one in the MCD600 but is much more flexible and it integrates with the C1100 perfectly.

I've since changed my order to the MCD600... as the cost of a D1100 (not to mention the additional shelve space) aren't a luxury I have.
