Ivan have you ever thought of Being an Avantegarde? I really find these speakers intriguing.

Ivan, since you asked I will comment. I personally believe that when all is said and done you will have had a tremendous effect on high end audio both through your systems, your very high intelligence, and this website. If you have an intellectual weakness it is too much emphasis on speakers and gear that your ears like. Wilson gets rave reviews that you seem to ignore because you don't like the Wilson sound. Ditto for Magico. Also your emphasis on non American brands in general. The most iconic brand of all is McIntosh. I could name many others. But you have been amazingly successful so who am I to question your judgment or give advice?

Charles... I appreciate your input, thanks; there is much more involved than me just choosing to represent a speaker brand. It must be a good fit for both parties, such as conflicting territories with other existing nearby dealers.

With my passion for Audio, it would be impossible for me to represent a brand/model that I personally don’t believe in strongly, and find appealing. I am not saying there aren’t great brands out there that I don’t carry, there most certainly are. My speaker choices involve a considerable investment of time, space for display, and money.

Ivan, I was in my dealers yesterday picking up new USB cable. My friend was there who sells me all my equipment. Most of the time he's out on jobs. I saw the Mac 70th Anniversary amp and preamp. He played me some jazz through some 22,000 Revels. Sounded a lot like Wilsons.

Then there was the B&W 800 D3's, the big ones. Played through C1100 and 1.25's. Already sold making way for Wilson Alexx. I listened to them for about 20 minutes, the Graceland Album which I am quite familiar with. I actually liked them though they sounded very different from the Wilson sound or the Revel sound. Excellent bass with plenty of oomph. No harshness, very smooth. Sound stage a little low compared to Alexx. I could certainly appreciate why B&W is successful. I enjoy different presentations and could easily live with both Revel and B&W. Folks have very different ears and different tastes. I think the advice you are receiving in this thread are from people that think the world of you. I do.

My vote is PMC. I think that PMC is a way underrated speaker here in the States. When you hear them, you will believe!

I did not even think of PMC and that’s what I own... good call. Though I’m still intrigued by the Avant-garde who seems very underrepresented in the US. Would love to learn more.
