Default Mx150 & jl113

All I can say is everything is working perfectly, and sounds great. My new Martin Logan CLX's intergrate perfectly with the sub in 2 channel music. Home Theater sounds perfect also. My only issue is setting up the MX3000 remote today. Tommorrow, the expert is comming out to the house to resolve some of the issues.

Sounds wonderful..

Do you find you have alot of LFE after roomperfect with movie watching? Are you using one sub via sub out?

It was a long day yesterday. They ran a balanced cable under my house from the sub to the MX150 and soldered on the balanced connectors. My other cable was with rca connection, unbalanced. I am not sure if that describes my hook-up. My sub is behind my listening area. The MX150 calibrated the sub. The mic that comes with the jl113 did not get used. I only had time to pop in one blu ray disk, that I was familiar with. Kung Fu Panda, chapter 10 I believe. Yes plenty of base. So far, so good. No popping noise at all so far. Now if I can just get the MX3000 remote working today. I will be a happy camper with alot less cash in my pocket.

Just looked behind the sub. One balanced cable only.

It seems i was unlucky the first time around... Looks like your good to go.

For low frequency bass testing I have been listening that organic THX into found on the begininning of Indiana Jones IV and the very end after the credits of Avatar. When that UBE LFE mushroom moves so should your chest..

It seems to me that a better bass response might be achieved from the f113 by first using the auto EQ function built into the Fathom's electronics, then allow the MX150 room perfect function to perform the additional room eq and delays on the entire setup including the f113 once the Fathom is first optimized.

This is the approach I used with my MX150 and Gotham.

John.......Good to hear. This will be the way I plan to set up my MEN220 when it arrives. Since my f113 is already dialed into the room and the system, I'm simply going to plug the left and right balanced sub inputs into the MEN220's left and right balanced low outputs, and perform the room perfect measurements from there.

John.......Did you notice a change in your MEN220's sound as it broke in? I am wondering about how many hours of use the MEN220 and/or the MX150 requires to be totally settled.
