I use these foam blocks. Can't remember the name/brand. Bought off of Audiogon more than 10 years ago. They get the job done and make it easier for dusting off the floors. While they are designed to protect against static electricity discharges, I may upgrade to Shunyata DF-SS as I would prefer the cable to rest on an elastic band to remove vibrations also out of the equation.

At an MSRP of $249/each, they best be good.
Think I'll trust David Salz and stay with my carpet and ~125,000 pounds of poured concrete (to say nothing of the masonry walls) to hold the fort, though I do like the idea of a roomba to do the vacuuming.
