Default Becoming subscriber after glitch

Hi guys,

I don't know much about computers so please excuse my ignorance. I am quite keen to become a subscriber, so I can send private messages etc., but am a bit concerned because I know the site was hacked just around Christmas time. Would this potentially put my debit/credit card details at risk, if it were to happen again, or something?

I'm guessing not, but to have definitive peace of mind would be great,

Please only answer if you know for sure,

Thanks,

Keyser

Keyser,
As far as I know there would not . Purchases via Legend Audio are done by phone or Email/Paypal and the donation section is done by Paypal. I belive you can sign up that way as well. If you have an account w/ Paypal that may offer you the added protection
you are looking for. Not to say that Paypal is bullet proof but is is an extra layer

Hello,
The issue with the site wasn't a hack for information or such. The issue was someone used a "loophole" within the code to allow themselves to post profanity on user groups. They in no way got access to our servers. Also we don't store or have any of your credit card information. When you order a subscription it's done through paypal. The only information we receive from paypal is the transaction ID# and the amount that was charged. You can go to paypal's website to read about the way they protect your information. We have never heard of a issue with someone getting a subscription through our site and there credit card information being vulnerable.

Thank you,
Admin

Thank you gentlemen for clearing that up.

I don't have PayPal at the moment though, so it may be a while before I'm subscribed!

Best,

Keyser
