Dave, I was talking about the A-65 power amp. Now that the news about the A-70 is out, the dealers should offer some more discount for the A-65.

Oh, I see. Well, to be honest, even though there might not be big differences, I would prefer to buy the latest model.

I am also curious about how big difference between P4200 and P7300 under regular listening volume.

I've replaced two P-4200 (running in bridge mode) by a pair of M-6000. With my B&W 802D2 the difference was surprisingly more obvious as expected. TMO the P-7300 will exceed the P-4200 in a similar way.

802d2 is a pair of formidable speakers and I believe p4200 is not power enough to feed 802d2.

But what about easier speakers such as B&W 805 d3 ? Will p4200 drive 805d3 as good as p7300 ?

I don't know for sure, but I assume that the 7300 will even be better on a 805. TMO you can compare it with a 200 hp 4 cylinder engine against a 300 hp 8 cylinder engine...
