2016 Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate: Is the Universe a Simulation?
What may have started as a science fiction speculation—that perhaps the universe as we know it is a computer simulation—has become a serious line of theoretical and experimental investigation among physicists, astrophysicists, and philosophers.

Thanks for posting. I have enjoyed Asimov since grade school. The below photos are the first Asimov box set of books that I received as a gift from my family. Also I highly respect professor Chalmers as he is one of the leading experts in the field, philosophy of mind and consciousness studies. He was a McDonnell postdoctoral fellow at my undergraduate alma mater back in the early 90’s while a friend of mine was briefly there as a graduate student. That is when I had learned from my friend about Chalmers as my friend was highly interested in phenomenology and consciousness studies. Anyway thanks for the posting and I certainly will give this a viewing.
Regards
