Following in the steps of my big brother who purchased a set of JBL L100's for our shared bedroom, I bought a set of Decade 36's when he moved out of the house.

Very first speaker Radio Shack single driver, 12h x 6w x 8d; only one and it was hooked up to a JC Penny large ( about 18" long by 10" high) console radio AM, FM, SW. Still have the speaker, interesting little speaker, wood cabinet. Doesn't get much more primitive than this. Paul

A pair of Bose 301s were my first set of speakers. How I wished I could have afforded the "high end" brothers, the 901s. It is amazing how perspectives change. ��

Magavox from 1963. Relatively early stereo. Still have in my brother's basement and still works. Magavox was a quality brand at one time.

My first good speakers were Allison III corner speakers, I loved those speakers:
