I think a 128 band 1/12 octave graphic equalizer will make all the options sound great!

I had a feeling that was going to be short lived.

When you have audiophilosis, you have an incurable disease.

Periods of active disease are frequent and remissions are short.

You have it for life.

300B is VERY transparent like main amps and REF2 and Wilsons. I am hearing all the defects of the recordings in this combo.
Either the Snappers or the C1000P were adding warmth and masking those defects.
300B / Mda 1000/ main amps / Wilsons is fine because MDA is warm.
Warmth is needed in this system and components that are too clear and transparent all together give an awful sound. Just an ounce of warmth and the magic reappears.
The perfect balance is on a very tiny wire.
Ha!

And everyone thinks I'm crazy Now you are getting a taste of what I was experiencing with different gear. We want, what we want, and sometimes it takes a long time to get there. Good luck Jerome. Enjoy the ride.
