Thanks Kev.

It's a sweet little piece and is settling in nicely. I still love that tube glow

Joe,

Do you happen to know IF Bob Carver will be coming out with tube Pre-Amps?

After all, this should be the "natural progression" of things ... where tube power amps ... will be followed by matching tube pre amps.

I am an admirer of his works BUT could not afford them back then. I am looking for his reviving the 20 tubes (KT88) per channel power amp (Carver Reference ... or something like that). If it does happen, I'll sell off one of my watches to immediately buy them!

Cheers!

Hi Jerry,

I keep looking but see no preamp yet from Bob and the gang. I would seriously consider one from him. This little amp really is amazing and I can just imagine how good the bigger amps from him sound. It does have a built in level control that seems to be perfectly happy being used as a volume control. It's powering my TADs nicely and can't wait to use the Cornwalls with it. I am happy. It's gets better every night as she breaks in.
