Big Band Mozart this morning. Nothing insightful, according to 'critics', but highly polished and exhilarating. I normally eschew playing classical music at a volume greater than what I would expect to experience at the concert hall, but this is one package for which I don't mind breaking my own rule at all.

Just listened to it while cooking.
It surely deserves to be played on the big system!

I never tire of hearing these.

I finds lots of flaws in this recording but I love the emotion. I truly enjoy this album.

I think being a New Yorker makes it more.

Default What Classical Music Are You Listening To Tonight?

I’ve shared this before, but it’s worth a second post - this is a very enjoyable recording. The music is very engaging, and Shelley’s playing is wonderfully fluid and dynamic.

Op.10 and 13. I like this set very much--not sure why it received some luke-warm reviews. (Others highly praised it, so I guess they balance each other!)
