I've also heard the Majik DS- it's also very good too. My Linn dealer told me the price on the Klimax DS is $20k, maybe they've gone down in price since November 2008? Let us know.

Serge, you are a couple of sales away from being Macless.
I will have to buy your new equipment, to be able to follow your posts, which I always look forward to reading.

I don't think I'll be Macless. I am planning on keeping the MDA1000. It does wonders for lower res stuff so I can always find use for it in my system. I also still have my 275 and 201.

Serge you can get rid of your Mc stuff, but you will always be a Mcintosh guy. If not for Mcintosh you would never have frequented the Mcintsoh AK site and made so many friends from all over the world and in all walks of life and now here on AA. Maybe someday there will be a LAMM crowd of people but for now your stuck with us I still predict that you will come full circle and buy Mcintosh again.

I think that was the whole idea behind AA? So we can all mingle without stepping on each other's toes and not be forced into our own little corners of the forums? Who cares if someone owns more or less or no McIntosh at all? If there is a thread in any of the forums and it looks interesting, why not be able to participate and offer input or opinion? After all what unites us first and foremost is the passion for high end audio or we'd have never met in the first place.
