Anyone here move from Wilson to SF?
I've owned my Sashas for 6 years now and am starting to get the itch to evaluate some possible replacements. I'm moving to a new house with a dedicated basement listening room 17 X 35 X 9, with partial walls semi-dividing the room into a listening area and a family/TV area. My budget is limited to another $30,000 speaker (which includes the sale or trade of my Sashas).
Anyone here make a move from Wilson to SF, particularly from Sashas to SF? If so, why did you make it and what did you end up with? I will start making road trips to hear SF, Focal, Magico and others but wanted to do some research first. Thanks, Dave

Dave,
I moved from a pair of Wilson Sophia 2's to a pair of Amati Futura's and never looked back. Not a fair comparison from a pricing standpoint, but the WAF is far better. I like the overall tonal balance of the Futura's better than the Wilson's, which were outstanding in their own right. The Futura's don't have the pinpoint imaging the Wilson's had, but to my ear are far more musical and realistic sounding. Tom

Blasphemy! What about the Sasha 2? It's a pretty decent upgrade.
