Default Klao's Only One System

This maybe a good time for me to start participating here too, since my new listening room has developed somewhat. It's still very much a work-in-slow-progress, though. I'll try to keep updating the current photos and list of items on the first post here, until changes and additions of my gear are quite stable.

As of April 2014:
Here is the link for my system and room details: audiocircle.com/index.php?action=systems;area=browse;system=1930

Klao
Enjoyed viewing your system and spacious listening room. The acoustic treatment appears to be integrated into the space, and does not appear to be an after-thought.
Well done.

Thank you all for your kind words.

Credits go to Richard Bird of Rives Audio, the contractor, and my understanding wife.

Klao,
A beautiful room, and a really wonderful combination of gear. Congratulations to you on very well put together system and listening space.

Klao, your room looks great, especially the treatments. How did you decide on covering those windows with the planks and was it an acoustic or aesthetic one?

It's a beautiful room and system.

I would definitely get those amplifiers off the floor to protect them from vacuum cleaners and the like.

Rives audio must have built everything custom for that room?

Thanks, Derek.

The HunterDouglas honeycomb shades were suggested by Rives Audio. They are both for acoustic (covering the glass panels on the doors) and to protect my speakers from harsh afternoon sunlight. Apart from that those imported shades, all other materials are made by my contractor here to Rives's designs. Fortunately, the local fiberglass boards have the same acousctic specification just as OwensCorning's models.
