Thanks AM! I love those 2 Marantz pieces too. I haven't had as much use for them in quite a while but I've had them since new and I don't really want to give them up.

Thank you Greg! That space is not stylish but its a great retreat and has good acoustics. Here's a shot of it from behind the listening couch (system off)

I was originally looking for either the Model 2 or 3 Ref, but then a local guy answered my want-ad saying he had these very rare and mint RDM3's and I couldn't resist after hearing them. They use the same Uni-Q mid/tweet as the Reference line and I still wonder how these TOTL monitors compare to the REFs.
