X 600's monoblocks or X 350.8 stereo?
Hello guys,
I have a pair of X600 monoblocks, awesome beasts of course. Somebody compares the X600's vs the new X350.8? The new .8 line sounds fuller to my ears, the X350.8 stereo will be better than my X600's mono? What do you think? Thanks a lot Pablo |

Pablo -
I've heard the 350.8. It is an outstanding amp and a "bargain" for its price (yes, it is an expensive amp but not terribly expensive in the world of high end). Sorry, have not done a comparison with the 600.8s.

Pablo, trying to give opinions to what you have asked is meaningless without knowing what speakers you are driving. Regardless, I doubt if your speakers would make the 350.8 break a sweat !
FWIW, never assume mono blocks are better than a stereo amp.............. |

I guess it is theoretically possible another amp might sound better, but it will be a long time before I part with my X600.5 amps. If I did it would be for the X600.8 amps.

Does the X600.x series require a dedicated 20amp circuit or can it be plugged into a standard 15 amp circuit? Would prefer to not have to muck around with electrical stuff in my place...
