You Ronnie Earl fans should check out Bruce Katz Band as well. He sometimes gets a bit 'experimental', which isn't my cup of tea, but some real solid work. I think he played with the Broadcasters way back.

Ah, yes, I listen to the blues quite a bit. I tend to listen to the older stuff though, whether its Electric Blues, Swamp Blues, California Blues, Delta Blues, I like them all.
Here is just a partial list of the stuff I listen to... The 3 Kings (Albert, B.B. Freddie) T-Bone Walker John Lee Hooker Jimmy Reed Howlin' Wolf Slim Harpo Lonnie Johnson Blind Lemon Jefferson Muddy Waters Taj Mahal Son House Lightnin' Hopkins Billie Holiday W.C. Handy Bessie Smith Little Walter Elmore James Leadbelly Otis Rush Champion Jack Dupree Big Mama Thornton Stevie Ray Vaughn Eric Clapton Some of this stuff is really old so don't expect audiophile quality recordings. Would you believe I actually got in trouble for displaying one of the album covers on AK? |

Serge,
I have some of the great artists you listed, but you just gave me a reason to go music shopping again.
