Grass Wall Paper
A friend got a room papered in a grass wallpaper it seemed to help the acoustics. How do you all think this would work?

Doug.......If the surface of the grass wallpaper is textured with assorted grass peaks and valleys across its surface, the wallpaper may be acting as a diffusor, scattering sound waves rather than simply reflecting them.

My wallpaper is of the grass variety. Between it, the bookshelves, and the furniture the room is pretty low in terms of reflective surfaces. Not having any decent comparison to make (hey, how'd you like to A/B your wallpaper
 ), my gut says it's the least significant feature of my listening environment impacting the sound.Dan, what is your take on "reflective" vs. "diffuse" - diffuse being better?

Thanks. I'd love to have a space where I could tweak and experiment, but the listening room doubles as the family room with some art that only fits in this high-ceilinged room, and those type of constraints leave no real ability to try tweaks. That being said, the room as-is provides a good environment within its space.
