It doesn't play, but I think it's just cool. Haha
Soon the SRA will be place on top prepared for TW, and CMS Sapphire MKII will be place under C37.

Not worth sending one for service? If you think that you have to wait for a long time
why not repairing and tuning the Technics which has great looks. It could also save
as a backup later on.

The setting looks very nice by the way! With the TW, it will sound impressive.

Thank you.
It is a furniture grade coffee table, strong, but no fancy vibration management or anything. But it is cheap compared to something called audio-grade.
The Technics has internal broken tonearm wire on left channel. Actually if it can make it work, I will put Ortofon 2M Black on it and use it as a back up. How do we repair broken tonearm wire anyway ?
TW should arrive in not too long however, I ordered it just before new year I believe.

I also ordered inverse RIAA filter just to help breaking in C37 by using line level source.
It is by Hagerman Audio Labs.

C37 first action !

Well, still on its first hour. And the Rega RP-10 is also on its first hour too.
Sound rather bland. But now I understand why Accuphase stressed so much on its quietness.
It is a really quiet phono preamp.

.

Stick both ends in a piece of wet chewing gum. The moisture in the gum should carry the signal - and you get to chew another piece every time you play records. (Gotta keep it moist!)

Are you serious ? Isn't the aluminum gum wrapper conductive enough ?

Noticed the cart in Rega Rp10 is Benz Ace. Also fresh cart.
Overall, I can feel the quietness and neutrality, but still sound rather dry and flat.

So I take it the C-37 is very revealing?

Anyway, have fun with that baby, I look forward to getting one myself....
