Default Nad M12 Preamp

Any Nad M12 owners here? I like to hear your review. Thanks!

There is a review of it in the December issue of The Absolute Sound.

Just purchased brand new NAD M12 Preamp, I have it pair with my Mcintosh MC 452. I am impressed with the quality of the sound, the M12 delivers detail, clean, uncolored, fast attack and high dynamic range music. I am blown away by how much more I was hearing and the expanded soundstage.

Late reply but using M12/M22 combo, works great with my Sopra 3's. Love having my source and pre together (BlueOS card) as all my listening is steaming via Tidal. I feel this keeps the signal extremely clean, I have an absolutely silent noise floor. I also installed the HDMI card and use it to control the switching and audio through 3 video HDMI sources to my TV, and that works well. Although I am curious what the 452 would do paired with the M12 . When I demoed them on the 452 and a Mc C47 Pre I believe, it sounded a bit too relaxed for me. I also don't think the best source was used in that setup. But maybe paired with my M12....

Spinpsycho, are you able to remotely trigger your amp from the M12? I'm considering your exact combo for the future. I will definitely demo it.

Unless I overlooked it, it would be nice to have a dedicated NAD thread. They have earned some serious respect...albeit they are historically pretty slow and frustrating on updates/upgrades.

I agree, continously impressed with what my gear is doing, particularly at this price point.

Surprised there's no dedicated NAD section. My M25 keeps me smiling.
