Default Fiona Apple Show

Went to the Fiona Apple show last Sunday and it was pretty good. I think it was the first show on the new leg of the tour. It wasn't too crowded and you could get up nice and close to the stage. She is a little quirky at times but a very good musician and song writer. She has a powerful voice for her small size and it can be very delicate also. The organist looked like Rasputin and the bass player was playing a large upright bass most of the show.
If you have MOG check out her "When The Pawn Hits" album, It's pretty good. I like the songs Limp, Paper Bag, and Fast as you can. They are all good really. Also, check out the Tidal album. It has some of her more famous songs like Sleep To Dream, Criminal, and Shadowboxer. Her newest album is a little different but is growing on me.

I saw her a few years back when she toured with Nickel Creek. It was a great show. I've been a fan of hers for many years, however I have to say I'm not listening to her new album very much. I like a few songs on it, but it's not like all the others where I like pretty much every song on them.

Fiona Apple is a tremendous talent. Anyone who is not familiar with her should be.

Her rendition of Why Try To Change Me Now is beautiful.

I first heard it on House and been in love with that song ever since.
