Where did you place your subs? How was the learning curve on using the CR-1? Congratulations on the new speakers.

The room really looks nice. What is the stand you have your XR27 mounted on. It seems perfect.

Thanks Maks and everyone for the positive comments. The speakers aren't particularly heavy (84 lbs), but they are long and difficult to move, which is why it took me a while to get them upstairs and set up.

Subs are behind the listening position toward the back of the room. I'll take some more pictures of the full room setup and post them shortly. The CR-1 was not difficult to learn how to use at all in my setup. I'll write up more about that soon as well.

Thanks Larry! The TV stand is a BDI Vista 9960 in black. I've had it for over 10 years. It normally can hold 1-2 glass shelves below the TV, however it works great just using the arm brackets to place the center speaker on.
Amazingly it holds both my 60" Plasma and the XR27 with no issues, even though it wasn't designed for that much size and weight.

Here's a comparison pic that I took during setup with the LS360 on the left and the XRT29 on the right (with grills off):

I will write a longer post soon with listening impressions and more about the setup process. In the meantime, here is a pic of the final placement in my room. My LS360s, which I still love, will definitely be missed.

WOW! Congratulations!
