Dave - too bad Technics does not offer with an auto/semi-auto TA. Would definitely be interested if they did. But, who knows..........

The trade-in price made me think about going up to a couple higher priced choices. I then looked at the ProJect Xtension 9 Evolution with cartridge for $2800, and the Acoustic Signature WOW XL for a little over 3K. In the end I'm pretty sure that I'm going to put the extra into a vinyl cleaning machine. The guys at Sound Stage want to show me the new Kirmuss ultrasonic cleaner, that's garnered a lot of interest at the trade shows lately.

Jack - if you "get the tour" of the Kirmuss US-RCM, please start a thread on same with your thoughts. Specifically, let us know about filling/draining the cleaning fluid and how one dries the LPs at the end of a run.

There is a video on youtube that has the demonstrator at a trade show fielding questions from a guy. At the end of the 5 minute cycle he dries them by hand with a microfiber towel. I don't remember him going into filling and draining the tanks. He cleaned some really nasty lp's between the machine and a spray he sprayed on the vinyl. I will give my thoughts on the Kirmuss, but the model I'm interested in is the KA-RC-1.

I put in my order for the Music Hall MMF 9.3 with the Eroica cartridge. I hope to also check out the various vinyl cleaning machines and order one while I'm there to pick up the table. Now I will have upgraded 2 out of my 4 sources in the last few months.

Not well at all Glenn. I think I'm going to have to cancel the order and look elsewhere. I had gotten a post from a member on another site with some warnings that their business might be in trouble. I'll post when I get more info.
