Much easier and more consistent than bubble levels.

I never really liked this type of level. Reads one way then when you turn it and it reads little different.

I've never regretted buying good tools. The Ortofon level has remarkable precision and allows much more accurate leveling than the common hardware store bubble level. Compared to the overall cost of LP playback - turntable, pickup arm, cartridge, phono preamp, turntable stand and other alignment tools - the cost is trivial.

Well made machinst levels don't do that.

I see very similar ones on Amazon for a lot less money. I’m sure they are both the same except Ortofon has the audiophile name that doubles the price.
