Default Ref 5WE fuse

I did replace the stock fuse with the Synergistic Research Black & Blue fuses. Also the power cable.it

Hi ,
Sorry for the late response , I did not realised how great the 5SE and Phono 2 SE until I replaced the original ARC supplied power cords . I tried a pair of Shunyata King Cobra CX power Cords and I was surprised by the improvement it brought out in my system .

What do you think of the Synergistic Research Black & Blue fuses? I have thought about trying the Blue. I currently have a HiFi Tuning supreme fuse in my Ref 5se but I was not impressed. So I have been hesitant to try the Synergistic Research Blue.

I was just reading Stereophile(s) review of the Ref 6. (Dec 2016)
In it, there was a comment about Ref 5SE owners finding the Ref 6 had significant improvements in sound quality over the Ref 5.

I know the Ref3 had the date on the PC boards, don't know about the Ref 5SE but would be easy to check.
