Default LPI on CDP

Someone may have posted this before but I thought I would add my observation also. I recently purchase Stillpoints ultra minis for my CDP and a LPI for my TT. The ultra minis under my K-3 CDP was a large improvement in sound for me and the LPI was equally a significant improvement on my VPI TT. When I was playing some CDs, I tried placing the LPI on top of the CDP. It did make a small improvement to my sound quality. Not dramatic but worth it to me. Happy to have a no cost improvement since I already owned the LPI.

Yes, both tima and myself posted this usage in the Stillpoints forum.

I found putting Stillpoints on top of CDP does improve the sound. The improvement is similar to putting them under it.

I recall placing a book on top of a receiver or amp in college often improved sound. Some folks had particular books that worked best. Foam pads under speakers were another dorm room tweak.
