Thanks Rayooo,

Voices sound incredible.

Now all I need is an EAT ECC88 tube.

funny you mention about the tube, needless to say I'd heard all the talk about the EAT tubes...and went for it. I'd installed it early on, even before the ET-5 was fully broken in. (Just a kid that couldn't wait) anyway, after putting the stock tube back in yesterday, I have to admit I did notice the difference and I like the sound of the EAT compared to stock CJ. Natalie Merchant's voice for one sounds just a tad sweeter with the EAT tube.

Thanks Rayooo,

I wonder if anyone has tried Gold Lions? I have a couple laying around that I might try. I just ordered the EAT and should have it Thursday/Friday.

Congratulations on the ET-5 I am sure you will love it , I bought 3 NOS westinghouse 6922 's that sound wonderful in my ET-5 even better than the EAT I installed. If you want to send me a mailing address I will send you one for your preamp kind of a new house warming gift.
