I don't need much encouragement Rafale but thank you!

What a pity that Franco Serblin is limited by his dealing with Sonus Faber in the production of speakers. Seems unfair but I guess he was handsomely compensated.

I guess Quadrivio were wary of Franco considering the kudos he holds

Howie, do you mean that the Ktema production is necessarily limited to n pairs because of a trade or legal agreement with SF ?

No, absolutely they do not!
How you get this idea?
Franco and Sonus are a competitors now and Franco will sell as much Ktema as possible.

Default Ktema and Accordo on Demo at CES

Serblin's speakers were active in the Axiss Audio room at CES and will be distributed in the U.S. by Axiss, located in Gardena, CA. Projected output of each speaker is 30 pairs per month for the global market.

I wonder if this will mean a steep dealer markup.

I read it from an article about Franco post SF. According to the article, one condition of the sale of SF was a limit of Franco's future speaker production. Quadrivio obviously wanted to limit competition and maximise its investment. Quite normal industry practice.

for how long the condition applies I have no idea.

Hi,
Yes I'd be surprised there would not be a "Restraint of Trade Clause" in his deal-after all

he was Sonus Faber

Who are the faceless mob now?
