I think my humble pre and poweramp don't allow me to hear a huge difference during speaker break-in.

You should be in for a treat one those woofer cones break-in. Enjoy the music.

This is the first time I have read your Guarneir Memento thread. Your pictures and description of your impressions had me biting my finger nails. My wireless network connection kept dropping me but I didn’t give up till I got through the whole thread.
