Is this scientific fact or scientific fiction? This is a scientific fact. Fiber optic provides 100% galvanic isolation.

Is this scientific fact or scientific fiction? Right now it's scientific fiction. It's based on research that John is doing but he has not proven that this is the case, that these products actually address it, or that they even need to address it. I think it's in appropriate and premature to state it as scientific fact. FYI I have had numerous conversation with John about this and remain cautious and enthusiastic as the same time.

Just to be clear the opticalModule also uses a Crystek CCHD-575 oscillator. The RJ45 Jack on these units are like the same one because John has a make/model he likes to use.

Please let us know how this works out.

I am hoping that the early adopters of EtherREGEN can provide feedback on their observations. In my setup I have a 30ft long inexpensive ethernet cable connecting my router to my streamer/DAC. I could replace this cable with a better one such as the Shunyata Sigma ethernet cable. Or depending on the improvements perceived, get an EtherREGEN and use the existing inexpensive 30ft cable to connect the EtherREGEN with my router and use a 1.5m Shunyata Sigma cable to connect the EtherREGEN to my steamer/DAC.
Thank you in advance..

The latter approach is the one you want to do.
