I usually do not let this one stray too far away in time from me.

A great record, very well recorded with amazing double bass playing!
On this record, Brian Bromberg used a 300 year old german double bass. If you have a good system the sound of the bass is just amazing, filling up the whole room. You can hear it playing in front of you. The interpretation, the strings, the wood, the vibration. Great record! [/url]

II do not recommend this new set:
I'm still a fan of this fantastic bass player though.

This week's harvest doesn't seem to offer a lot I like...
If Allmusic gave 2 stars, I would agree with them

Andrean, fantastic recommendation! The bass is tremendous indeed, in all aspects. I'm going to listen to more of him. There is a 'Wood 2' too, that's going to be a good start.

Wood 2 is also very good! And a tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim is also excellent. Everything else is not so good, music wise.
