It is great to see all the right stuff migrated over to MasterLu's new gig.
Gregswain I am in Dallas and my son is a senior at SMU so yes he is one of the chosen ones. BPP is a wrestler and you can see the booty daddy at: Please take this with a grain of salt, and if pro wrestling trash talk is offensive then skip this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UOoXZe_S3wI Last edited by bigpoppapump; 04-21-2009 at 08:56 PM. |

I kind of went in reverse. My first piece was a then-new Mac4300V receiver, in 1988. Over the years I have added older pieces to anchor systems in other rooms. The newest piece I own is my MCD205. The 4300 is at my weekend house after years as my main unit. Now my home listening room is powered by a Mac1500.

You mentioned that your son was a senior at SMU and I was wondering if you have any money left over for any new McIntosh pieces? |

Cut my teeth on just a C220 to replace a old pre amp. I found Alberto's you tube video which led to a MC252 . I found the Mcintosh forum and you guys .... which led to me not being satisfied with what I had . Seriously its been fun so far.

I got my start with a MAC4100 I purchased new in about 1979. That unit, with a set of ADS speakers gave me a taste for the sound that was possible with good quality hardware. I still have it and it works well.
A couple of years ago, I bought some new equipment, a journey that is probably not over. It always seems there are a couple of things that should be added or changed to improve the sound. It there a cure?
