Great combo!
I have them in a system and can not picture selling them.
The 501s are perfect.

The sub set up, is a bit tricky.

But I think Auditors ( which I adore the look of) and a JL sub would make a nice comprimise for a very small music room 11X14...

Anyone hear of a great deal on a used pair, please let me know.
I had the Auditors in my 11x14 room (just like yours) with an MC252 (before I went to the 501s.) They had no problem filling the room with music and, if I hadn't found a pair of Guarneris a few miles from my home for $6K, I would still be listening to them. Hard to go wrong with the Auditors - they seem to be universally loved.

I would like to get some input on what you feel the better choice would be. The Cremona Auditor M’s with a JL sub woofer or the Cremona M’s with the possibility of adding a JL sub down the road. I was originally looking at the Magnepan 3.6R’s but I don’t think I have the room they need to breath in my 13.5’ X 18’ living room. My wife also has an upright piano in the living room. Just last weekend, I heard the Auditor M’s for the first time. The sound was beautiful. I am just in the planning wishing stage right now. Thank you for any input you would like to pass on.

It is, thank you. My next step is to upgrade sources, but I'm going to wait until I buy a new house.

Sounds like it may be a bit tight in your room with the piano and other furniture. I'd go for the monitors and add a sub. This way you have more flexibility in placement and control over your bass with the sub.
