The only reason I'm considering the Sooloos is the amazing software that is not found anywhere else. I have a Mac setup and I'm only scratching the surface of seeing thru my library. I demoed the system in '09 in my home and was floored. I had been saying all along that the unique aspect of their system was the software, not the very average hardware. Well since Meridian took over, they have stepped up their game substantially.

I agree. Itunes or Amarra's GUI is fine and I am using it now but the Sooloos is a different kettle of fish. Even the Ipad app is incredibly easy to use. The MC200 allows one to enter the world of Sooloos for the price of a MCD201. Since most of us have world class Dacs of some sort it is an easy way in. You can always build up the system systematically as you go along depending on your needs and budget.

David, the Sooloos GUI is world class. It allows you to delve into the music, to access the musicians playing on the cd, to look at reviews of the cd etc etc. No other server has this level of GUI.

Believe me I have been umming and aaring for about 3 years now and am almost ready to take the plunge.

Reg,

A new MC600 was also released at CES. I am guessing bigger capacity. I just ordered a C15 + Twinstore with dual 2TB drives. The touchscreen is too nice to deny myself.
