The 101 & 102 got high praise in the December issue of "Stereo".
The CD player got higher marks than the 061 and even than the 001. It sells for less than 5K € here.
The little amp doesn't come far behind, but doesn't beat the 082. It's a little more than 5K.

Well, it is not true. The 061 got 93% but for some reason there is a lower mark in the Stereo ''chart'' (maybe a mistake). The Stereo 061 review with 93% mark is available on the Burmester website ;-)

sorry to revive the thread, but has anyone had a chance to experience the 101 since the thread was started? I know class D had be disparaged in the past, but quite a few of the new offerings have been quite positively received VS class AB. Burmester claims to have produced the modules in-house for the 101, so that's interesting as well.

I have the opportunity to audition the 082 but not the 101, just wondering if the extra expense for the class AB is justifiable. Thanks all!

101's is great integrated amp for the price, but the 082's sounds better.
