ASR was The Integrated a few years back. If you look up the reviews you will find that it was rated as highly as any piece of gear.

DarTzeel has always received great reviews. The design can be polarizing.

I know so many people say this, yet it has always been very good advise when it comes to a question like this.

My answer to you would be to listen to ALL of them with the Sophia 3 and pick the one that YOU prefer. Everyone has different tastes. Let your own ear be your judge.

Jim,

Thanks. I love the darTZeel design.... perfect for me...

I love the fact that it has a high quality phono stage... big plus....

but....

20K....

The boulder at 12K is a stretch....

I would love to hear the Wilsons with the ARC... that AEROSMITH loves sooo much...

I'll have a Sophia 3 within a month or so (hope the forwarder delivers on time).
The first integrated i would try them with would be the Bel Canto S300i (150w at 8ohms), I'll also try the Luxman 505u, I'll borrow a friend's Accuphase E560 (30w class A).
If I have the chance which i wont in the near future, I would add Vitus Audio to my wish list.
However, I have a good feeling that whatever I feed this speaker with, it will sound good music-which in the end is what matters most.
