So it's about 11 hours now and 1.2TB transferred with 17 hours to go. A heck of a lot better than before.

I had errors when copying with drag and drop. I ended up deleting everything starting over using the app. It took about 36 hours to pull over 4tb from my NAS. Which isn’t terrible. Copying the same data to a backup USB drive takes a similar amount of time. .. just make sure everything’s tagged correctly or you’ll end up repeating the process. I did after retagging with Yate.

Thanks Kyle!! I'll look int Yate.

Does Yate let you update meta data in bulk or do you have to select each album individually?

You can update in bulk. I added artwork by album, but tagged artist and album artist in bulk. I wanted consistent tagging across each artist. It drives me nuts when I have 2 or 3 different listings of the same artist or album.

Yate is awesome. Tags every kind of file you can think of and does it quickly. Also it has a feature to easily search for and import artwork
