I'll say that I'm thoroughly impressed with what my Simaudio i-7 is doing with my new Sophia 3. The imaging is stunning, and I really haven't dialed the setup in, yet. Quite frankly, I'm getting more out of this combination than I ever thought possible...a very happy camper.

Two Dot... I believe you would do well to listen to your Sophias with a good quality tube amp... I'm a C-J guy but there are others. Wilson speakers seem to respond well to tubes. As Ms. Deb says... trust your ears. Good luck.

I've heard Sophia3 sounds so smooth and beautiful with Vitus integrated amp, the big one.
and sounds so lively, clear and faster with Moon Evolution. I believe the Sophia3 can change sound in many style depend on amps. Any great amps should make them sing beautifully in many different ways.

So far the best integrated amp I heard with the Sophia 3 s is the new 180w Accuphase E460. The sound was warm but detailed, fulsome bass, deep soundstage, effortless. Never heard the Sophia 3 s sounded so dam good not that it sounds bad with the other amps I tried them with.
