I use an Audioquest Big Sur 3.5 to 3.5mm stereo interconnect to connect my AK100 II to the stereo minijack AUX input on the car.

For all those not wanting to spend 3k on an AK player, I just got the Frio X5 for $300 and its wonderful. Plays all file types and all resolutions I need and built like a tank. Drives most headphones with ease and the sound quality is fantastic. Based on the reviews I read its not far behind the AK but I have never personally heard an AK.

Okay, here's a pic of my AK100 II. Apologies for the sub-par photography. This was taken on my sister's kitchen table on a piece of white butcher paper serving as a seamless background, clothes-pinned to the dining room window's curtain rod and using a speedlite softbox balanced on the back of a chair!

I use the aux port. I also have the Bluetooth remote for controlling the device in the car.

Avoid Bluetooth like the plague.

Listen to the fidelity differences. Hardwired versus Bluetooth. BTW. The AK240 will pair with the S-Class AMG 2014.

Bluetooth uses a lossy A2DP Protocol.
