Hey KKF1, By chance have you auditioned the Temptations? If so , how do they compare to the Platinums and what is the price on the Platinums? I'm sure you will love the Platinums, good luck . Tom

I auditioned Temptations ling time ago. According to trust worthy source Platinum is about 40% better speaker overall.
Price for Platinum is 65K Euro in EU with local VAT. AFAIK US price is $85K.

Wow, thats impressive, the Temptations are excellent all around speakers that fit well in many different spaces. I always thought that maybe they left something in performance to make them so virsital. I have the Temptations and am amazed how great they sound in my room no matter where I put them. I have them taped off for best spot, but with everyone using the room, I have to put them against the back wall when not listening by myself. Other speakers I had couldn't handle the back wall , LOL.
I would love to hear the platinums, if there 40 percent better , you are in for a real treat, enjoy and keepmus posted!

Back to a thread I started long ago.
Even though there is no chance i will ever own the Platinum anymore, but I am glad to know that
It sound as good as it should be. All finishes are beautiful be it black or wood veneer.
