QuarterSaw..... I see that you own both a Mac MC452 and an MC500. How do you use them in your system? Any thoughts to share on both units? As someone who's been pondering a "step up" in the power department, I'd really like to read your thoughts.

Smile MC252 Owners?

Mac Board..... Here's an update for the thread. We recently found a pristine MC452 for our audio rack, so we're two channels closer to the "5.1 Room" we've been moving toward since early-2020.

As we're still a center channel short, however, this thread becomes the priority [for us] once again. We like the ideal of having as much functionality as possible, so a Mac stereo amp that's capable of mono operation would be a great candidate.

As I went back and read the posts in this thread, it occurred to me that we haven't heard much at all from anyone who's owned the MC252. This is a Mac autoformer-based amp that's capable of mono operation. I've also spotted a couple that have come on the market recently, so I'd really appreciate any thoughts from the folks who've either owned one in the past or is using one now: especially if it has been/is used in mono mode.

As ever, thank you for your time...
