Hmm. I tried the Redwood cables and they did not play well with my rig. The Audience cables performed better.

Looking forward to trying the new ones out.

I tried Oak and Redwood in my system. I preferred the new Audience and Clarus Crimson speaker cables. I ended up purchasing Clarus Crimson.

Lol those are not in my budget anyway even used. Probably going to wind up with something like Rocket 88, WW Equinox 8. Unless any of these new cables pulls me in.

These are up on the Audioquest site. Thinking the Thunderbird is out of my budget for my smaller system. I'm sure it will be priced above where Oak was. Anyone have prices on these?

Good to know it’s in the website, I got to check it out.

I still don’t understand what they mean by zero impedance.

I tried Redwood as well, on my particular system, the gains seemed to stop being noticeable at the Oaks. I don't think there is unlimited improvements to be gained on a system with cables, it's limited by the systems capabilities and should be proportional in price. Cables that cost as much as the speakers they're connected to just don't make sense, at all. They should be priced in the single digit percentages compared to the gear they're driving, which is in line with the single digit performance gains cables actually provide.

Prices are up for these new cables on Thecableco, out of control high. No way even the base cable is making it into my new system.
