I have my fingers crossed that I have just ordered a power cord that will demonstrably improve my system. Essentially, due to meaningful constant voltage fluctuations where I live, I have an ExactPower EP-15A voltage regulator in front of my two Shunyatas (Denali and Hydra, respectively), which are connected to it via Shunyata Venom HC power cords. Anyhow, currently I am using one of the better Pangea power cords from the wall outlet to my ExactPower unit. This afternoon, I ordered one of the new Shunyata NR-V10 power cords through my dealer, figuring that there might be some benefit gained from the noise reduction feature of this power cord prior to the voltage regulation. We shall see. Costing $450, this is a bet I did not make likely -- justifying it as the last upgrade for the foreseeable future.

I'll be very interested to hear about what you think of it when you get it in.

Given that it's been KPIP'd, burn-in/settling time should be minimal.

My dealer decided it would be fun to torture me. So, while I await delivery of the Venom NR-10V, he has loaned me a Shunyata Delta NR power cord. (It costs $800 vs. $450 for the Venom one). I put it in my system last night and "My God!". What a difference/improvement it made! All I can now hope is that the performance of the Venom is very close to the Delta, or I am going to be out a further $350.
