Default Photos of my new CD9

I'm a new member and would like to post some pictures of the CD9 I received yesterday. I don't have them posted on an external link. Am I able to insert them directly into a reply post?

.... Gary

Congrats Gary!

I have done some A/B on the CD9 lately at a local dealer and my impression after a couple of hours is very positive. I am keen to hear your thoughts on the CD9 in your system....hope to hear from you soon!

Good afternoon Folks .

I note that Stereophile have published a recent review by Fred Kaplan , including some interesting comparison comment in respect of Krell's Cipher SACD/CD player~

Hi there, in a new user to the forum but an AR addict with little chance of rehabilitation.

So having owned the cd7 upgraded to the 8 I now have the 9 on home demo. It's a brand new unit so the burning in time is leaving me uncertain as to when it will be at it's best for comparison.

Has anybody else put the 8 up against the 9?

I'm also planning to smuggle in a 150se, a covert operation to upgrade the 110 made tricky by the new silver chassis.

If she catches me I may be shot.

Revjelly,

Welcome to the club! I upgraded from the CD8 to CD9 a couple of years ago. I can't remember the exact details of the differences between the two units, but I do remember that CD9 definitely had more details in the highs and just sounded a bit more airy. It terms of mid range, they sounded similar. The main advantage of the CD9 is having the digital inputs. I had the ARC DAC8 until I got the CD9.
