Thumbs up the Fighter

Saw the fighter good flick good acting a few to many F bombs but a good overall flick

Thought this was a good one too.....Christian Bale was pretty spot on when you see his actual character during the end credits. Every time he dropped from the window of the crack house into the trash pile I got a good laugh

The movie was good but hard to enjoy. I guess I just have a hard time with movies that have no characters that you really like. Kind of like Jeff Bridges in Crazy Heart, there is no way you can like a character like that.

I liked the way both brothers made triumphant combebacks, it went beyond just another boxing movie.

I was wowed by Christian Bale's performance. He pulled his character off flawlessly IMHO. After seeing him in Batman Returns, Dark Knight and Terminator Rise of the Machines this role was 180 degrees and I found him very convincing.
