Vote yes, I don't see how this is such a big deal. Start a thread if it doesn't get any flow then remove it later.

Exactly my point! Please add your Yes vote in ...

What I am very confused about is why some people are dead set against a KEF forum.... and then you see post where they say how much they like KEF speakers and would love to build a system around them...

I'm quite a fan of KEF.

I still think Ivan needs some pairs in the Cape!

politics...politics...politics...not really a fanboy of KEF but considering that great number of much less legendary companys have dedicated forum outhere KEF would be logical choice for its own forum...im really suprised it wasnt considered before...Monitor Audio also as someone mentioned which are one of my favorites...but i guess those speakers arent overpriced enough to folks take them serious...like speakers that dont cost loads of money cant play great music...

I never have heard Monitor Speakers... just recently getting back into good audio and not sure if they were around back in my early days... being that I am a fan of British designed speakers I am fairly certain I would appreciate their sound though!

Soon soon.... very soon... got to listen for a while....

After first song on Crime of the Century... HOLY SHIT... there is that KEF sound... smooth, incredible image... sooo freakin inviting... that I have missed for so long....

And they will only get better .... 200 hours here we come!

Very surprised that the foam inserts that come with the speakers really do "tune" the port somewhat. I have to have mine a little closer to the wall that is recommended... about 300mm give or take... The outside ring is good for 200-500mm... and it does help smooth that ever so slight boominess from being a little too close to the wall.

After listening a bit I actually kind of like that ever so slight additional thump without the tuning foam inserted in the port.

My Monitor Audio MA1s date from 1975. Fit in with your early days?
