yes, so is Fremer. But I do like them both, especially Fremer, he has a wealth of knowledge and is quite witty.

I just watched part of Fremer's "video" (if you could call it that) from RMAF.

I left a "continuous improvement" (aka kaizen) note on his YT comments to 1) get a gimbal for his camera when shooting video so we don't get queasy watching his very shakey camera technique 2) to be considerate of his subjects, pull back a bit and show their face, head and shoulders of the person he's talking to so we're not listening to a "decapitated" voice.

You'd think that someone who is so fussy (and presumably, skilled) about something as technically-challenging as turntable setup could do bring some simple and basic technique to shooting a video.

Agreed. One time I took one of his factory visits I was watching on my phone and cast it to my television to watch...it was painful, I felt like I was watching through a keyhole.

Fremer has earned tons of respect...he is much more objective and truly skilled IMHO.

Had a great time in Estes Park/RMNP for three days after RMAF. Here is a Flickr album of pics if anyone wants to take a look. If you pull up the individual pics, you can see my captions for many of them.

Here's the Sonus Faber SF17.....about that toe in....maybe Ivan can comment here since he's had way more experience with Sonus Faber than I have, but good night, they turned them into a pair of headphones. I spoke with one of the Sonus guys and I get it, they wanted to showcase the new Olympica Novas on the other wall and feature these as more of a "nearfield" listening experience. I understand what he was saying, but why you would ever use a pair of these in a nearfield experience is beyond me. Hard to comment on the sound, they were playing an old jazz/big band type recording that sounded almost mono so I'll reserve judgement.

Wilson Audio WAMM + wife = "But honey, what's $650,000 in the grand scheme of things?"

I'm sure they sound fantastic, but the Wilson is too much. .
