If you're listening for effects, yes, Burmester might do you "better". Full disclosure, I tend to agree with Peter Q of ANUK...German hifi sounds evil. If you're listening to your Shindo that way, you are kind of missing the beauty of Shindo. I recommend that the new owner read Jules's review of that Monbrison in 6moons.
Since slang has flip-flopped a couple of times in my life, could you please tell me what this observation means? Does Peter Q like what he hears? Do you? Thanks!

I do not think it is absurd for someone to use a "consumer electronics" tool to verify whether or not there is content in a region that may or may not be important to them. Apparently he has already identified a "slight" issue and it only sounded like he was confirming what he was't hearing.

I have not had enough coffee yet, but why is this a debate? Stephen was sharing his own impressions. How can his subjective response (his opinion) be "wrong?"

No rumble. I have a GrooveTracer subplatter for my Rega P5. Whatever rumble there was before is now gone.

We'll just be streaming some hi-res digital files with the Wadia and spinnin' some wax. I'm picking out LPs right now.

Sounds like a great day ahead of you. I wish I was a fly on the wall...or perhaps a cat in a chair.

Cat in a chair would be more like it!

That's how I felt last weekend, especially as David kept plying us with wondeful wines.
