I have the DEWALT 18v 16 ga nailer. It works well and I have had no problems with it. The disadvantage is that it is heavy and a bit awkward for continuous finish work. I agree with others, go with an air unit. The DEWALT D55141FNBN 16-Gauge Finish Nailer/18-Gauge Brad Nailer/Compressor Combo Kit might fit your needs. I have a larger compressor, in order to use the DEWALT framing nail gun. Since getting the air nail guns, the 18v is used primarily for small jobs.
